03, 04, etc).

To use the income averaging worksheet(s):
1. Complete the shaded areas of Part IV of the LIHEAP Budget.
2. Click on the "Income Averaging Budget" tab towards the bottom of the
worksheet window.
3. The "No. in H/H" and "Max. Income" sections should have auto completed for
you in the Income Averaging Budget. Now, complete the shaded areas of the
remainder of the Income Averaging Budget worksheet.
**Hint: In the "73%" column, enter "73" if the 73 % disregard applies; if it
doesn't apply, leave this column blank.
4. The Income Averaging Budget worksheet should calculate all totals for you.
5. When completed with the Income Averaging Budget, click on the "LIHEAP
Budget2" tab towards the bottom of the worksheet window.
6. Your total gross and net averaged income should have auto-completed for you
from the Income Averaging Budget and you should not enter anything into the
"Totals from averaging by hand" shaded areas.
7. Continue completing the LIHEAP Budget2.
If you prefer not to use the auto Income Averaging Sheet, you can complete the
LIHEAP Budget as usual, except, when entering your manual Income Averaging
dollars, use the indicated shaded areas to enter them.
